Experience

Over the past 10 years, I have worked extensively in the hospitality industry across a range of roles, including barista training, sales, accounts management, and café management. More recently, I have spent the last four years working as a tennis coach, supporting young people aged 4–25 as well as adults, with a strong focus on skill development, confidence, and positive engagement.

In addition to my professional experience, I have volunteered with Open House in their Backyard Sports Program for the past 1.5 years, supporting young people in a safe, inclusive, and community-focused environment.

Bio

While my background is in hospitality and sport, my passion now lies in youth work and supporting young people to build skills, confidence, and independence. I aim to use my experience in mentoring, coaching, and relationship-building to empower young people to make healthy decisions and work toward meaningful, satisfying lives.

In my personal time, I’m an avid sports enthusiast and regularly spend time rock climbing or playing tennis. Sport has been a positive and grounding outlet in my own life, and I enjoy sharing this approach with young people as a practical strategy for wellbeing, connection, and personal growth.

I’m excited to continue my journey with Open House and look forward to making a positive and lasting impact within our programs.
