Experience:
I’ve spent over 20 years working in the community space, serving in leadership roles ranging from student and department leadership through to organisational leadership. During that time I’ve had the privilege of leading both staff and volunteers while helping design and develop programs that strengthen community and support people to thrive.

I’ve spent 13 years working in youth programs and more than 7 years leading adult programs. I’ve also served as a Senior Pastor, where a large part of my role involved building healthy communities and developing leaders. Across every role I’ve held, my passion has remained the same -investing in people, helping others grow, and creating environments where individuals can discover their strengths and flourish.

Bio:
Being part of Open House is deeply meaningful to me. Each day I walk into work and see reflections of my own story in many of the participants we work with. For me, this isn’t simply a job -it’s an opportunity to give back to the kind of community that helped shape my life.

Throughout my journey I’ve been fortunate to have people invest in me, encourage me and guide me along the way. While my environment growing up may not have suggested I would end up where I am today, it was through the support and guidance of others -and my willingness to learn from them, that helped shape the person I’ve become.

That’s why I care so deeply about the work we do at Open House. I believe that with the right encouragement, guidance and community around them, anyone can grow and build a better future. I lead through collaboration and strong teams, recognising that everyone brings unique gifts and strengths. Part of my role is helping create environments where people can step into those gifts and contribute in meaningful ways.

At the heart of my work is a desire to see Christ’s love lived out in practical ways -welcoming people from all walks of life and walking alongside them as they grow.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. I’m also an avid golfer who enjoys running, staying active and following sport. I’m a long-time, and at times long-suffering, supporter of the Essendon Football Club.
