Experience

I initially studied nursing before taking a gap year and joining Open House as a volunteer. I then became an Adele Trainee, working across multiple programs as a Support Worker. After this, I moved into primary teaching, working with Prep and Grade 2 students. While I loved teaching, I missed the community-focused work, which brought me back to Open House as the Admin & Volunteer Coordinator.

Bio

It is so special to be back at Open House and part of such a warm and welcoming community! I have always loved working with people and building meaningful connections, so being able to return and support both the Open House team and our wonderful volunteers is something I really value. Having started my own journey at Open House as a volunteer, it feels particularly special to now be in a role where I can support and connect with other volunteers. Volunteers play such an important role in our community, and we truly couldn’t do what we do without them!

Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s going for long walks, kayaking or soaking up the sun at the beach. I also love reading, spending time with my friends and family, and of course, hanging out with my cat, Pippa.
