Bio: I started out at Open House as a placement student. I loved Open House’ mission and way of fulfilling this mission so much that I continued for a few months as a volunteer, before working 5 years as a youth worker.

During this wonderful experience of being a youth worker at Open House, I found myself additionally interested in the media side (which grew during lockdowns) -and was encouraged to take on a good variety of different projects and tasks. It became a strong growing interest. As I was pregnant with my son I couldn’t see myself as a youth worker in this season. With that, I’m thankful to have been given the opportunity to do work now in communicating the heart and mission of Open House.
