As an Australian registered Christian charity and public company limited by guarantee, Open House has a wide range of policies covering its legal, fiduciary, participant protection, operating, and moral responsibilities.

Each of the policies has been developed after appropriate consultation and consideration. All are approved and signed off by the board of directors and reviewed and or updated regularly.

All staff, volunteers, and, in some cases, other individuals are required to comply with these policies.

Where required or appropriate, the Open House policies are displayed publicly. Other policies form part of the operating procedures of the organisation and are available on request.
